Trenton comes from sunny Hesperia, California. Since relocating to LA, he’s gotten into a little bit of everything: music, art, some restaurant work to pay the bills, and more music.

When he’s not recycling old cassette tapes by dubbing his own music over them, he’s managing his own boutique music label called TV Records.

Can you tell us more about the type of music and art you create?

“I make a sort of avant-garde pop, and collages dealing with overindulgence in America.”

How would you describe your own personal style?

“My personal style is much like my art: bellbottoms, Nikes, fur coats and Dickies.”

You wear a lot of hats, but could you describe a typical day in your life?

“A typical day in my life would consist of a gym visit after waking up, eating cereal and having coffee. Going to wash dishes. Then after that, going home to work on a painting, dub tapes, hang out with my boyfriend or eat. Then I watch TV till I sleep.”

How do you feel when you wear American Apparel?

“I feel great! I think of the new American Apparel stuff as futurist and very functional. I like the idea of things that go together, like track suits. I don’t like having to pick out things that match, so it makes it easy for me. My favorite thing about the brand is that it’s ever evolving and ever growing. Always changing, but still based in a similar universe.”

What are your must-have American Apparel items?

“The Mason Fleece Pullover Hoodie in orange, the Baby Thermal One Piece in Army Camo and the Metallic Halter Catsuit in Silver.”
